Potlake Game Reserve
Fetakgomo is not really known as an exotic destination,
but it gained a new dimension since the Potlake Game
Reserve came into the picture. Tourists will no
doubt want to experience the beauty of nature and
realise other treasures awaiting discovery.
It is ideally located for access to the Dilokong Corridor and
many shafts of platinum and chromium mines.

The Mine
Next to Potlake, is a platinum mine, Lebowa Platinum
Mines, called Atok Mine by Fetakgomoans. It has brought
much needed employment opportunities to the people of Fetakgomo,
of the Sekhukhune District, of Limpopo Province and the Republic
of South Africa at large.

Monameetse Spring Water
One of the scenic highlights is the Monameetse spring water,
which the locals believe to be inhabited by water spirit.
They also believe that the snake that needs not to be provoked
provides the water. Mense glo. Ba a kgolwa. This water nourishes
throats of people and the entire land of Monametse.

of the Bapedi for your fortunes. The place is rich with the Bapedi
